Students from our school joined with students from other local state schools in a workshop run by Adam Thompson, an original member of Chocolate Starfish.

Students with gifts or talents in the performing arts (choral and visual) and/or English worked with Adam for two days to create the lyrics and melody of their song “Never Surrender”. They also recorded both the song and video clip and designed the CD cover.

“Never Surrender” was aired on ABC radio on July 21 and Chisel Tip’s premiere performance was held at the PCYC in front of parents and interested community members. Plans are already in the pipeline for a future workshop.

Over the past two years as part of the triennial school review parents provided feedback about our plan in surveys and at a workshop. We have made some changes to the plan which was tabled at the P & C meeting on Tuesday to be endorsed at the next meeting. We would appreciate any feedback you may have concerning the plan.
