Curriculum Programs

The curriculum and its delivery, is the core business of our school. In 2001 Cannonvale adopted a Framework for Curriculum in which all activities relate directly to strategies under the objectives of Learning, Schools and School Workforce. We recognise the interrelationship that exists between these strategies and the broader portfolio of responsibilities of Education Queensland.

Our Curriculum will drive all resourcing and teaching programs in our school. We continually review our pedagogical practices and challenge teachers to be enthusiastic, innovative, pleasant, responsive, teaching as well as possible and communicating effectively with students, their parents and support personnel.

Our curriculum will challenge students to be risk-takers, to enjoy school, to reach their optimum potential and to value themselves and others.

Teachers will provide challenging extension activities for children with special gifts or talents and support programs for children in need.
