Junior Learning Centre officially opened

I can’t believe the fete is over, it was just wonderful!! We couldn’t have asked for better weather. What paradise we live in!! Thank you so much to our P&C and fete committee, our staff, all of the volunteers, the businesses and individuals who made donations, the entertainment and to everyone who came and had a great time!!

At this year’s fete we also got to officially open our Junior Learning Centre finally and we remain so very grateful for it!!  A huge thank you must go to The Minister for Police, Fire and Emergency Services and Corrective Services, the Honourable Mark Ryan, who flew in to officially open our building. He spoke enthusiastically about the atmosphere and culture at Cannonvale State School and was so very impressed with our new building!  Thank you to the other special guests who attended, Bronwyn Taha, the Labor candidate for the Whitsundays, who represented the Premier, The Member for Whitsundays Jason Costigan, Deputy Mayor and Councillor John Collins, Councillor Jan Clifford and Councillor Ron Petterson.

Cannonvale State School is a Great School!
